The Calgary Stampede Queens' Alumni Welcome You!
Thank you for taking a few moments to learn about the past Queens and Princesses of the Calgary Stampede. Please browse our website to discover how we came to be, what we do for our community and who we are from 1946 to 2009.
During the 10 days of Stampede the Queens' Alumni are busy with a variety of activities. We organize the Giddy-Up Grits pancake breakfast for children with special needs, we host visiting Rodeo Queens and Princesses from Canada, the USA and sometimes as far as Australia, we are hostesses for the Stampede Directors and their guests as well as participating in many other volunteer activities around the city.
On Stampede Park we have an historical display located in the Western Oasis. The clothes and items you see on exhibit in our historical cases are just a fraction of our collection. To showcase the changes over time this years display features artifacts from years ending in 05 and 10.
