The Queens’ Alumni committee has partnered with the Stampede family, corporate Calgary, the public and the special needs community to deliver a safe, fun and memorable western experience for children with special needs.  At this year’s 32nd annual Giddy-Up Grits, over 200 children and their families will be welcomed for a free, on-park Stampede breakfast.  Activities during and after breakfast include a petting zoo, roving musicians and entertainment, meeting mascots and Rodeo Royalty and riding on the many midway rides at Kids’ World, courtesy of North American Midway Entertainment.

Located in Kids' World at Stampede Park, this year’s “Grits” event will be hosted on Monday, July 11, 2011. This event occurs rain or shine so please dress accordingly for the weather!

A Stampede trolley is available to transport families from the Stampede LRT Station to Kids’ World, every ten minutes, from 7:15-9am.

7:30-9:30 A.M. - Breakfast and entertainment (please note that gluten-free pancakes are available)

9:00-11:00 A.M. - Rides in Kids' World (ages 14 & under) 

Following the Giddy-Up Grits, families are welcome to stay on Stampede Park to enjoy the rest of their day!

Please note this is a private function; children must register before Thursday, June 30th to attend.
