Patsy Rodgers became the first Calgary Stampede Queen in 1946 and was also named the 2008 Calgary Stampede Parade Marshal. Patsy leaning against log wall.

Queen & Princess crowns 1996-present
These are the crowns worn by the Calgary Stampede Queen and Princesses today. They were first used in 1996 for the 50th anniversary of Stampede Royalty. The crown is one of the few things that the Royal Trio must pass on.
